Thrapston Town Juniors FC

The Raunds 3G pitch is located at Raunds Manor School.

It is an outdoor 'astro' pitch with floodlights for evening training too.

Correct footwear is essential: ideally specific astro boots/trainers or moulded studs/blades or trainers, but definitely not screw in studs. As it is quite open to the elements during the colder months ensure your child is suitably wrapped up. There are no under cover facilities so reber to include club rain jacket! It's usually windy too... You have been warned!

It is a full size mens pitch which we as a club hire out a third of regularly for all ages.

For directions from Thrapston...

Turn off to raunds at the BP garage.

Straight over mini roundabout and turn left (after you have passed the industrial units on the right) into marshalls road.

This is a long road which goes down the hill into the town centre.

At the end of this road turn right, through the narrow passage, over the crossing and immediately left (next to chippy) up the hill (hill road) all the way to the top.

In front of you will be some school buildings.

Go straight on-ish so the school is on your right. Turn into the car park at the end of the buildings.

It's about a 5 minute walk to the pitch from here.

Once parked go through the mini car park with metal gates and head straight on. Some hard courts will be on your right and the astro is in front of you away in the distance.
