** TRAINING RESTARTS
ON SATURDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 10.30AM **
Dear Players and Parents
As we try to provide a fun and safe introduction to Football
there are a few matters we would like to bring to your attention.
- Any updates on schedules or other information please have
a look at the clubs website: www.thrapstontownjuniors.co.uk. On
This web you can find all the information there is on your
club. Click on training news for our section.
- Our training starts at 10.30 hours. Please arrive ten minutes
early to allow us to make groups and set up any more pitches
if needed.
- Wearing of shin pads is mandatory and please ensure your
child has the appropriate clothing and equipment for the
weather conditions.
- The football clinic is for children (boys and girls!) from
age 4 until the end of school year 1.
- Please be aware that we give football training and we expect
you to be responsible for your child. If you can’t
stay the whole session, please make sure one of the other
parents is delegated to keep an eye on your child. The Saturday
morning sessions are not designed to be a crèche.
- Coffee, tea and other refreshments are for sale in the
clubhouse and help is very much appreciated so please offer
your assistance as it is another way of contributing
to the success of the club.
- I’m sure everybody has seen the progress on the new
clubhouse. If you want to contribute, there are several ways
of sponsoring. Contact a committee member, details of which
can be found on the website.
Some of this information will not be new to most of you, but
we wanted to be sure the important items are communicated and
everybody is up-to-date. If there are any concerns regarding
the clinic, do no hesitate to contact us. We will try to resolve
matters quickly. If you are not comfortable raising issues
with us do not hesitate to contact either Martin Glynn (Child
Protection Officer) or Bruce Stevens (Chairman),
details can be found on the website.
We hope to see you coming down next week.
