The under 11's played their first
away game of the season at Kettering Generals. They got off
to a difficult start conceding an own goal early on after
a mix up between defender & goalkeeper, but soon were
level after Jacob Sanders scored from a well-taken corner.
For the remainder of the half both sides evenly matched, although
Thrapston had the better chances.
The second half saw Thrapston with more of the ball creating
more chances. There were a couple of penalty appeals turned
down and a disallowed goal from Jedd Whiteman. The pressure
finally paid off with a goal from Jedd Whiteman to make it
1 - 2. Kieran Moore settled the match with a late goal to
seal all the points, and keep their 100% record.
The under 12's youth put together
an improved performance at home to Finedon Vics, losing 1
- 6. Alex Samila scored the home sides only goal.
