The
lost against Hellenic 3 - 0.
The
lost against Generals Red 3 - 0. This was a very unfortunate
result for Thrapston, as they played their best football all
season. Thrapston started well and were on the attack from
the very start, with Ryan Caller going close with several
long range shots. Generals took the lead through a very well
worked move, and a mix up led to Thrapston going 2 - 0 down
at half time. It was noted at half time how Generals were
worried at the Thrapton performance. Soon after the break
Thrapston were back on the attack, coming close with Ryan
Caller and William Morrison. Even aftert the third Generals
goal went in Thrapston never gave in. Final score 3 - 0. Man
of the Match: Ryan Caller, although every team member of the
team deserved to get the award on their performance.
The
drew 1 - 1 against Burton Band with Jack Rawcliffe getting
Thrapston's only goal.
The

Ravens 5 - 0. Click here

The
were beaten by at home Mawsley United 2 - 3. Thrapston were
2 – 0 up at half time with goals from Darrell Smith
and Russell Vallerious, but fell apart after the break allowing
Mawsley to come back and eventually win 2 – 3.
The
Youth lost away at Grange United 6 - 0.
The
were held to a 3 - 3 draw at away Ise Hearts, with Kyle Dorbon
getting a goal and David Cunningham scoring twice.
The
achieved a commendable 1 - 1 draw at home against league leaders
Newborough Juniors. The first half started well and flowed
with end to end play, Thrapston scoring first from a corner
set piece, the ball floated across the goal, the Newborough
defence
cleared it out towards Kyle Wood who hit an unstoppable shot
on the half volley to give the home team the lead. Then Thrapston
put themselves under alot of pressure by failing to keep possession.
Newborough pressed for the equaliser which they got on the
half hour mark. Newborough continued to pile on the pressure
forcing Thrapston to defend deep but they held out until half
time. h/t 1-1. The second half was a turn around by the home
team who controlled most of the play, winning headers from
the goal kicks and keeping possession. Thrapston tried to
break the deadlock and only just missed out on taking all
three points. A fair result for two evenly matched sides.
A good out right performance by Thrapston.
