Thrapston
shared 6 goals with Rushden Rangers in an entertaining game,
in which both sides tried to play good football, despite the
conditions. Thrapston took the lead midway through the first
half, when Sam Gallagher latched onto a through ball and buried
his left foot shot into the far corner of the net. Rushden
equalised just before half time, and in the second half, Thrapston
raced into a 1 - 3 lead when first, Josh Cummins set up by
Man Of the Match Jordan Bateman scored and then Tom Alsop
added a third. Rushden came back into the game and got a deserved
draw with two late goals.
The game was postponed
due to an unplayable pitch, but the under 12's were able to
play their game at home to Rothwell Aztec. After going 0-1
down inside 5 minutes, Thrapston piled on the pressure to
gain a 2 – 1 advantage at half time with goals from
Darrel Smith and a 25-yard Leo Adams free kick. Darrel smith
completed his hat trick in the second half. Jonathon Lawrence
and Adam Hope managed to also get on the score sheet. Cory
James and Jack Petty ensured Thrapston got all three points
with outstanding displays. The final score 6 - 2.
The lost 0 -
5 away to Finedon Vics.
The report easily
beat Ise Lodge Eagles at their place 1 - 9. Thrapston Town
dominated both halves with good attacking play coupled with
solid defending. Sam Gough with three cool finishes, Chris
Meadway with a shot from the edge of the box and a clever
chip over the keeper. Lewis Dickinson scored with a good finish
on his debut for the side. Kyle Dorbon bagged his first goal
for the club from the edge of the box, Jack Nicholson with
a powerful shot and Ali Jones solo effort. The Ise Lodge keeper
deserves a mention from some excellent saves.

and were 0 - 3 up at half time. They continued to dominate
throughout the second half and the game ended up 0 –
7.
