the second half, Hellenic got the lead at 5-4, which they
were able to hold on to with some desperate defending, and
despite the pressure being put on by a spirited Thrapston

The were held to a
2 - 2 home draw against Weekley Rovers. After an excellent
first half performance from Thrapston, they led through goals
from Thomas Whiting & Darrel Smith. The second half saw
the home team relax which gave the opposition the chance to
level the score. A very competitive game with the scores even
at 2 – 2 a fair result.
The were convincingly
beaten by Stanwick 8 - 0.
The put in a very
good performance away to Burton Band winning 1 - 6. Ben Allington
opened the scoring for Thrapston with an unstoppable 30 yard
free kick, with Robert Blades then adding 3 cool finishes,
including 2 chips over the goalie. Confusion in the away teams
defence let Burton get one back just before half time. The
second half saw Thrapston dominate with Chris Meadway’s
electric pace and good shooting put the game safe. David Cunningham
and Jack Nicholson shared Man of the match for their work
rate.
The were unlucky to
be beaten at home by Weekley Rovers 3 - 4. Thrapston were
1 – 0 down after 10 minutes, but a Sam Alcock strike
brought them level and a Jack Wisniewski penalty game the
home side a 2 – 1 lead at the interval. Another penalty
from Jack Wisniewski extended Thrapston’s lead and after
a disallowed goal by the same player, Weekley Rovers fought
back eventually winning 3 – 4.
A disappointing performance from the saw them lose 3 - 4 at home to North East Northants.
