The under 12's
won revenge for the recent defeat this time away at Isham
Cobras beating them 1 - 3. Thrapston led at half time through
a Russell Vallerious goal. The second half Russell score his
second with a well-worked corner. Daniel Lynch finished off
the game with a fine header from a Leo Adams free kick. Isham
scored a late consolation.
The under 12's
Youth lost 10 - 1 away at Corby Kingswood, Andrew Millard
getting on the scoresheet for the third match in a row.
The under 13's
narrowly lost away 2 - 1 at Finedon Vics. A tight game with
Finedon going in at half time one goal up. Thrapston then
found themselves under lots of pressure in the early stages
of the second half but battled well before conceding again
after failing to clear a loose ball. Thrapston then created
many chances using the pace on a number of occasions, but
it was Lewis Dickinson after a good run who scored with a
low well taken shot. Thrapston almost shared the points in
the final seconds after a good mazy run from Meadway who slotted
just wide.
