The under 11's completed the double beating Grange United away 2 - 4.

Both teams struggled at first to overcome the difficult windy conditions, but it was Thrapston who had the better opportunities. Thrapston were not able to make their chances count, with Matt Wright having a good left foot effort parried for a corner. Midway through the first half, Keiran Moore accepted a through pass, ran on and stroked the ball passed the United keeper for Thrapston's first goal. Three minutes later Jedd Whiteman received a similar though ball, and with only the keeper to beat, rounded him for a simple tap in. Grange United tried to press back, but Thrapston's defence stood firm and the score remained 0 - 2 at half time.

With the wind in their favour, Thrapston dominated most of the start of the second half, with Josh Catchpole very effective in sweeping up any Grange attacks. Thrapston's pressure paid off after 46 minutes when a corner from Keiran Moore found Jedd Whiteman, who shot from 18 yards, giving the Grange keeper no chance. Thrapston maintained the pressure, missing a number of good chances which would have made the game safe. With five minutes to go before the end, and after the fourth successive corner, Matt Wright scored an easy goal, after a scramble in the United goal mouth.

Grange didn't give up, and shortly before full time were rewarded with two soft goals, after poor defensive errors. A good result with the final score 2 - 4.
