beaten 5 - 0 away at Weekley Rovers. With the strong wind
in Thrapston's favour in the first half, the away side pressured
Rovers in all areas but couldn't finish their chances. Stephen
Broom worked hard up front but found the heavy conditions
tough. Rovers had a couple of attempts on goal but good saves
by Rory Petts kept the score level at half time. Half time
0 - 0. Weekley score after 5 minutes of the restart, and added
their second a short while later. Weekley added a further
three goals before the end, Thrapston finding it difficult
to contain Rovers with the swirling strong winds. Final score
5 - 0.
The had
to switch venue against Weekley and the result was a 1 - 4
win. Very hard fought first half with Thrapston just edging
it by 1 - 2, goals from Daryl Smith and Leo Adams. The second
half saw Thrapston take control with two early goals from
Daniel Lynch and Jonathon Lawrence. Another goal from Frazer
Talbot made it five, giving Thrapston a well-deserved, hard
fought victory.
The
game against Park Gunners was postponed.
The got
a good 1 - 3 result away at Rothwell Aztec with David Cunningham,
Chris Meadway and Ali Jones scoring the Thrapston goals.
The were narrowly beaten
at home by Danesholme losing 1 - 2. Danesholme scored early
on but Thrapston replied through Duncan Charles. A poor performance
from the home team in the second half saw Danesholme score
the winner midway through the second half.
