The Under 13's won
2 - 4 away at Wooton Jets. An evenly contested first half
saw the two teams turn round at 0 - 0. Wooton took the lead
early in the second half and began to dominate. However, two
goals in quick succession from Daryl Smith and Daniel Lynch
saw Thrapston take the lead and began to boss the game. Further
goals from Fraser Talbot and Daniel Lynch saw Thrapston cruise
the second half, although a late goal from Wooton caused a
few jitters. Thrapston held out though, and only a good save
from the Wooton keeper prevented Daniel Lynch from netting
a hat trick. Final score 2 - 4.
The Under 13's beat
Corby Hellenic 1 - 2 away. A hard fought game with Thrapston
taking the lead through Fraser Talbot in the first half with
Thrapston in control. An early equaliser in the second half
turned the game Hellenic's way, but a last minute goal by
Johnnie Lawrence from a Daniel Lynch corner gave Thrapston
the three points.
The Under 15's lost
their final game of the season 2 -1 away at Corby Danesholme
resulting in certain relegation. In very poor conditions Danesholme
scored first but Thrapston equalised just before half time
through Jake Wesby. Danesholme played better in the second
half and deserved to score the winner.
