The Under 11's played
their game against Raunds Tigers on Saturday and came out
2 - 3 winners with Kyle Fox scoring twice and Reece Evans
netting the other Thrapston goal.
The Under 12's put
up a brave effort at home to Hellenic eventually losing 1
- 5. Thrapston started brightly and were rewarded for their
pressure after 10 minutes, an indirect free kick awarded after
a back pass in the area was blasted in by Ryan Gavin. Hellenic
drew level after 20 minutes, the Thrapston keeper misjudging
a shot which he though was going wide. Thrapston were unlucky
not to retake the lead following a good run by Stephen Broom
but was thwarted by some good defending. Half time 1 - 1.
The second half saw Hellenic dominate and were soon in the
lead after some poor defending. The away side added a further
three goals, the last an own goal from a corner. Final score
1 - 5.
The Under 13's game
against Corby Ravens has been postponed.
The Under 14's were
heavily defeated at home to Westfield losing 1 - 8 with Ali
Jones getting the Thrapston goal.
