The lost
4 -1 away at Rothwell Aztec. Thrapston were 1 - 0 down after
15 minutes after the stand-in keeper couldn't hold onto a
shot from the Aztec striker. Ten minutes later and Thrapston
were level, Craig Mattingley making a strong run down the
right and finishing well. Half time 1 - 1. Aztec pressed early
on in the second half but some resolute defending kept them
at bay. Following a forced substitution of Ryan Gavin in central
defence due to injury, the home side took control and scored
three quick goals within the last ten minutes of the game.
Rob Cunningham should be mentioned for his performance in
goal after making a number of fine saves in the second half.
Final score 4 - 1.
The beat
Rothwell Aztec 4 - 1 at home. A good solid performance by
Thrapston who led 1 - 0 at half time through Daryl Smith,
although the score line could have been two or three to Thrapston.
An early penalty in the second half was drilled in by Leo
Adams and put Thrapston well on top in the game. Further goals
from Cory James and a second from Leo Adams sealed the points,
with Aztec scoring a consolation goal shortly before the end.

0 - 2 at home to Grammarians.
