The
began their first game of the season in winning style beating
Oakley Lodge away 1 - 2. Thrapston got off to a good start
in the season beating Oakley Lodge away 1 – 2. The game
was pretty even in the first half. Half time score 0 –
0. The second half saw Thrapston take the lead, a cross from
Reece Evans finished by Carlos Lewis. Reece added the second
shortly after which eased the pressure. Lodge scored shortly
before the end but the away side never looked like they would
lose their lead and the final score ended 1 – 2.
The
started their campaign off with a defeat at home to last season's
league winners Ise Lodge Eagles 0 - 6. Thrapston's switch
to the Chancery Lane pitch looked liked it had paid off as
the home side dominated the first half, but couldn't finish
their chances. Craig Mattingley missed a good opportunity
with only the keeper to beat but lifted the ball wide of the
post. Midway through the first half, Ise Lodge broke and earned
a corner, which after a scramble, they converted. Half time
0 - 1. The second half saw Ise Lodge take control with Thrapston
getting little joy kicking up the hill. Lodge added a further
five goals as heads dropped towards the end of a tough match.

The
began there title challenge with a win away at Vicarage Farm.
Thrapston dominated the first half going in 0 – 3 at
half time through goals from Darryl Smith, Cory James and
Adam Hope. Adam Hope had an exceptional first half.
Vicarage Farm pulled a goal back shortly after the break but
then Jonathon Lawrence added a fourth and Daryl Smith his
second to make it 2 –5. Thrapston’s lost concentration
towards the end allowing the home team to score twice more,
but hung to win 4 – 5.
The
were soundly beaten 0 - 6 at home by Grange United
The game
against Westfield Rovers was postponed due to an unplayable
pitch.
The
were beaten 0 -3 at home to Ise Lodge. In a very even first
half, Ise Lodge were 0 -1 up through some sloppy defending.
The second half saw Thrapston keeper go off injured which
resulted in the home side giving away two soft goals. Final
score 0 -3.
