The suffered
a heavy defeat against a well organised and well drilled Raunds
Tigers losing 10 - 0.
Tigers went 4 - 0 up after only 10 minutes and Hurricanes
were defending badly, getting pulled out of position, and
chasing the ball in packs. Half time couldn't come soon enough,
as heads were down as the score had reached 7 - 0.
The theme of the half team talk was to regain some pride
as the first half performance was the worst seen this season.
The team responded and battled harder, fought for every ball,
and were very unlucky not to score a couple of goals. Unfortunately
a couple of goals from no-where and a mix up in defence mad
ethe final score 10 - 0.
Manager's Note: We came up against a side who look to be
the best in the league. They were very well organised and
fantastic at corners (six goals came from the corner set pieces).
Our second half performance was a lot better and we came away
with our pride restored.
Squad - Doubleday, Crawley, Abdallah, Godfrey, Love, Lovelock,
Evetts, Davies, Reynolds, Morton.
Man of the Match: Fegus Crawley
