Hurricanes kicked off fielding three new players which took
a while to blend in. Thrapston went a goal behind due to a
defensive mix up, before really starting to play. By this
tim ethe new players had settled in and began to put up afight
in midfield, chances were created but not taken, and they
fell further behind just on the stroke of half time.
The second half began with Thrapston starting to dominate
the play, and all the signs were encouraging. Alex Palmer
pulled one back with a good run and finish, but unfortunately
time was running out.
Managers Note: The new playes took time to get going and
we didn't really play until ten minutes to go. Had we played
another five minutes the equaliser would have come. The signs
are encouraging and our first victory isn't that far away.
