The lost
to Generals Blue 3 - 6.
This result is not as bad as it looks. Hurricanes played
very well and every player gave 110%. Hurricanes fell behindearly
on, then went 0 - 2 down before John Davies pulled a goal
back. Half time 1 - 2.
As this was the first time the team had played 20 minutes,
Thrapston looked very tired, and fell further behind to a
very good goal. Shortly after Thrapston picked themselves
up with David Morton hitting a shot into the far corner. Unfortunately,
two further goals were scored by Generals, before Alex Palmer
hit an unbeatable shot after one of his mazzy runs.
This performance was once again very encouraging, the oponents
having played together for a lot longer than Thrapston. The
Hurricanes battled hard and by the end of the season, when
the two teams meet again, Thrapston will be looking to win.
Every player deserves a pat on the back for this game, they
are getting better with every match.
