The lost
4 - 0 to Weekley Rovers.
Unfortunately another defeat for THrapston, although the
scoreline rather flattered Weekley.
Hurricanes started very well although under sustained pressure,
the defence of Tyrone Love, Fergus Crawley and goalkeeper
playing particularly well. Thrapston went behind to a fluke
goal from a corner just before half time.
Shortly after the break, Thrapston began to attack more,
creating a few chances, with Ryan Reynolds going close a couple
of times. Two goals in quick succession from Weekley ensured
victory for the Weekley side.
Squad: Doubleday, Crawley, Love, Durrant, Lovelock, Evetts,
Morton, Palmer, Reynolds, Davies.
Manager's Notes: We played very well and only lost this match
to two very good goals. The players did well, never giving
up and stuck to their task. This was the best performance
the team has ever played and a win is on teh cards. WATCH
OUT TORNADOES!
Parents Man of the Match: the parenst could not decide as
all the team gave 110%.
