In a rearranged game the Under
13's drew 3 - 3 at home to Cottingham. Both teams had
chances early on but it was Thrapston that took the lead mid-way
through the first half, Craig Mattingley scoring after a good
run and finish. The home side were 2 - 0 up shortly after,
a good break by Michael Cooke down the right and an excellent
cross saw Ryan Gavin slot home. Half time 2 - 0. Thrapston
allowed Cottingham back into the game shortly after the restart,
before Jason Styles ran onto a through ball to finish well
and restore the lead to 3 - 1. Thrapston's defence, as it
has done all season, conceded two goals in quick succession
to allow Cottingham back in the game at 3 - 3. Thrapston had
chances to seal the points but couldn't finish to leave the
final score all square at 3 - 3.
