Mawsley United. Thrapston’s league hopes all but disappeared
after a 3 – 3 draw away at Mawsley United. After Jonathon
Lawrence scoring an early goal, two defensive slip-ups gave
Mawsley control, but a goal by Andrew McConnell gave Thrapston
a share of the spoils at half time. Thrapston then controlled
the second half with a great headed goal by Jack Petty looking
like winning the game for them until a hotly disputed penalty
allowed Mawsley to equalise and the points were shared.
