The Under 12's game
against Ise Lodge was postpones as Ise were involved in a
cup game.
The Under 13's lost
7 - 2 away at Kettering Generals. In a lively fist half, both
teams had chances, but it was Generals that took the lead
with ten minutes of the half remaining after a good run and
shot by the Generals striker. Generals were 2 - 0 up shortly
afterwards, the referee overruling an offside flag. Thrapston
responded straight after the break, Matt Wright pressure forcing
a the Generals defence into a mistake, for Stephen Broom to
score into an empty net. Generals immediately added their
third and fourth as they took advantage of the downhill slope.
Thrapston conceded a further three goals after some sloppy
defending before Stephen Broom scored his second shortly before
the end to make the final score 7 - 2.
The Under 15's drew
3 - 3 at home to Earls Barton with Sam Gough, Robert Blades
and Dvid Cunningham scoring Thrapston's goals.
The Under 16's comforatbly beat Corby
Castle Rise 8 - 0 at home. A goal each from Ross Smith and
Dean Barber saw Thrapston lead 2 – 0 at half time. Both
added one more each in the second half along with Lewis Wiggs,
Jake Wesby, Jack Wisniewski and Duncan Charles to make the
final score 8 – 0.
