After last weeks result the boys were in determined
mood to get a win and so from the outset they attacked Utd.
After several near misses Josh Cummins took the ball and ran
at the defence who were unable to stop him as he passed one
then another to fire in the opener.
After that there was a sustained attack on Utd’s defence
leading to goals from Luke rivet and Jordan Davies utd were
saved by the woodwork twice before Josh Cummins started another
run and was felled on the edge of the box but not before he
passed to Connor Morson who battled on and was also taken
down only to jump back up and carry on but again he went down……penalty.
This was unfortunately put over the top Beckham style. Luke
Rivett earned him self man of the match for several decisive
runs and proved a handful for the Unt defence. Midway through
the second half Grange managed a comeback due to a lull Towns
midfield, but Town finished strongly with a goal from Alex
Noakes and another penalty which hit the crossbar Utd never
really looked like winning it and Josh Leadwood made sure
most of their attacks came to an abrupt end.
