Daneholme Vikings 2 v Thrapston Town Blues 0
In the 1st half we were all about team work.
Passing the ball around and moving into space this was our
best team performance to date.
With numerous opportunities to score it was only our lack
of finishing that stopped us taking the lead and scoring at
least 3 goals.
There goal keeper played well saving our best strikes, but
by half time we should have had the game under wraps.
However this is football and some days it’s just not
your day.
Half time left the score as 0 – 0.
Second half saw the change in Danesholme as they started
to get more of the ball and unfortunately they had a few chances
which they managed to convert.
In all a shame that we lost, we clearly showed in the 1st
half what as a team we are capable of in the future.
