1st half required all our skills in defending and controlling
the ball.
Generally we stopped the other team from being able to run
on the ball and collectively managed to maintain a strong
defense with only one minor slip and a resulting goal.
Half time left the score as 1 – 0.
Throughout the second half we kept strong and
maintained a balanced team stretching forward ourselves to
try to recover the 1 goal deficit.
Despite our best efforts we still managed to get the ball
into an attacking position but unfortunately we were unable
to manage to recover the goal.
It was a fair game and Ferrers colts managed
to get a couple of good runs and as a result to striker also
managed to convert.
In all we performed exceptionally well given the fact that
Ferrers colts are third in the league.
Well the boys we will get better.
