1st Half:
All knew that Hellenic Fisher was a good team and that we
would be in for a
difficult time. With great delight we kept a score line of
0-0 up to half
time.
Tactics today demanded rolling subs to confuse the opposition,
this we did
successfully.
Excellent defending and cracking saves we held up to the
task well.
Rolling subs James Jack and Alex G, were constantly rotated
with other team
members to ensure we closed down attacks.

2nd Half:
Using the Same method of rolling subs we held out admirably
ever after a few
goal mouth scrambles and more saves.
However finally a goal was conceded, even though it took
a rebound to
obtain, we went one down. Great to see our lads keeping their
heads up and
although we conceded a second, I have to say that our game
was very
difficult and a credit to all the players for their hard work.
We should have got 1 or 2 goals today if we had been able
to look up whilst
running with the ball. Remember it's a team game and you need
to look for
your players in space and get the cross or pass early, before
you get
tackled.
Certainly I believe that the team is improving and a few
more weeks at
training should see us getting more goals.
