Going into today's game we were in 14th position in the league
after moving
up from 15th the week before after our great draw of last
week.
This weeks game will be tough as Raunds Tigers Black are
7th in the league.

Man of the Match: Alex G
1st Half:
A very tough match this week. We started well and closed
down attacks.
Raunds clearly were a good side, quick on the ball and able
to pass between
players which put us under pressure.
Whilst we tried to maintain a closed defense Raunds were
just to quick and
able to pass round our defenders using early passing and two
touch football.
A very difficult job of goal keeping and clearly we would
have lost a lot
more goals had Hayden not played as well as he did.
We fought a good game and we cannot expect to win every week.
Unfortunately Jack sustained an injury in the first half
to his ankle, can I
remind all parents to ensure that the boys are wearing ankle
protectors in
the future. Thanks

2nd Half:
Jack tried to carry on but was clearly in discomfort and
came off after a
few minutes.
We did get some good chances and it paid off with a goal
from Alex G(Well
Done), his first of the season, Alex almost got another in
the last few
seconds.
There were chances for James and Harry and we could have
had at least four
goals.
Whilst all the players played great, it was Raunds who had
the edge on
sprinting and ball control, and this is why on counter attacks
they managed
to gain the advantage and score goals.
We carried ourselves well and the boys, did themselves justice
against a
good side, our turn will come, keep your heads up..
