This week we were up against Raunds Black who were full of
confidence after
their big win last week. We started off very well
knocking the ball around and keeping it tight at the back.
Following a great
pass from Joe,Charlie found himself 1 on 1 with
their keeper and slotted the ball underneath him to put us
0-1 up. We
continued to play some good football Lucaas came on for Josh
and Alistair
came on for Harry just before half time we increased our lead
after another
good finish from Charlie following some good build up play.

Kyran on for Joe
The second half saw us really take the game to Raunds with
Max and Scott
causing no end of problems for Raunds while Kyran and Alistair
took care of
their attacks like Josh, Harry and Lucaas did in the first
half. Following
one of many corners from Scott, Max got a touch that sent
the ball beyond
their keeper to put us 0-3 up. Then another great move saw
Max return the
favour for Scott making the score 0-4. Joe came back on for
Alistair. In the
last minute Raunds were awarded a penalty from which Kern
pulled off a
fantastic save to keep the score 0-4.
A superb performance this week from everybody the hard work
we are putting
in at training seems to be paying off.
