In our first game back after the winter break we were up
against Weekley Black. From the start we tore into the Weekley
defence, with Max and Scott combining superbly and Joe Kyran
and Kern keeping it nice and tight at the back. Max and Scott
opened up the Weekley defence time and time again. Max put
us 1-0 up, Scott made it 2-0 , Max scored another to make
it 3-0 and went onto complete a 1st Half hat trick with a
superb solo run and finish. 4-0 at half time. Subs Alastair
for Joe, Charlie for Max, Harry for Scott. 2nd Half saw us
continue to attack and try and increase our lead with Charlie
and Harry going close and Alastair having a shot that just
cleared the bar. Max came back on for Charlie, Scott came
back on for Harry, Kyran back on for Alastair. We continued
to bombard the Weekley goal,Scott added to his 1st Half goal
and Max completed the goal rush by adding another to make
the final score 6-0.
Nice to be back in the swing of things after the break especially
with such an emphatic victory.Well done to everybody- a great
team performance. Thanks to the parents for their great support.
