Another good team performance from the Yellows up against
a strong
undefeated Ferrers team. Thrapston began very well putting
Ferrers under a
lot of pressure, forcing many corners. Most of the action
in the 1st half
was in the Ferrers half. From a corner taken by Scott, the
Ferreres defence
conceeded an own goal under great pressure from the Yellows.
Later in the
1st half, Max running rings around the Ferrers defence was
brought down and
the ref awarded a penalty to the Yellows. Scott blasted the
penalty and
forced a superb save from the keeper.
HALF TIME 1-0 TO THE YELLOWS!
The second half continued in much the same vein, with Kern
having only one
real save to make. Charlie came on for Lucaas and Kyran for
Max and the
Yellows ran out winners again 1-0.
