This week we found ourselves up against a strong Kettering
Generals
Side.Thrapston started poorly, going a goal behind in the
opening
minute.However Thrapston picked themslves up and put the General's
defence
under great pressure with Kyran going close from a corner
and also shooting
narrowly wide when the ball wouldn't quite run for him.
Kyran then put in a great cross which was parried by the keeper
and Charlie
forced in the rebound.Half time 1-1.
Second Half saw Thrapston make four substitutions, Max for
Charlie, Harry
for Lucaas, Joe for Alistair, Josh for Kyran.
Thrapston continued to push forward for the winning goal,
but some bad luck
and some good goalkeeping by the Generals Keeper saw the game
finish 1-1.
A very good close game this week with some solid performances
all over the
pitch. Well done to everyone.
