A below par performance this week against a much improved
Finedon Vics side.We started the game well with Harry and
Scott combining well.But again following on from last week,
we failed to convert the many chances we were creating. Then
Scott scored a great first goal and finished off a good move
to make it 2-0 at half time.However had we taken our chances
it could easily have been 5 or 6-0.
Subs- Alistair on for Joe, Charlie on for Scott, Josh on for
Harry. The second half saw us start slowly and Finedon came
back into the game and from their only shot of the match managed
to score to make it 2-1. Some more changes - Joe on for Lucaas,
Scott on for Josh.This saw us put Finedon under pressure,
but we couldn't increase the scoreline. 2-1 final score.
Next week we will need to be playing much better,particularly
in front of goal and start converting some of the many chances
that we create. Thanks to the parents for their support and
help.
