Thrapston’s season ended on a bit of
a low with our second defeat in as many weeks. If it had not
been for some great saves by “Man of the Match”
Josh Smikle the score could well have been a lot worse. There
was some good defending by Niall Mitchell and Jordan Knox
at the back but unfortunately Thrapston did not put any pressure
on the Generals goal. The nearest Thrapston came to scoring
was from the Thrapston goalkeepers, goalkicks ! ! !
Although Thrapston’s workrate could not
be faulted throughout the game the lack of fire power was
all too evident, where was our “Spark to a flame”
! ! !
With the season now finished, thoughts go to
September when it all starts again, with plenty to work on
during the summer break to keep us all out of mischief on
a Saturday morning ! !
