Another great team performance from Thrapston saw them continue
their winning ways. Thrapston won the toss and decided to
kick up hill for the first half. They started slowly and struggled
to put any passes together, however, in the 5th minute of
the game Man of the Match Jake Hankins broke from defence
and took a great shot only for it to hit the bar. A little
while later Luke Stevens hit the post, was it to be one of
those days ??? Luckily Thrapston found the form that has seen
them play so well over the past few weeks and by half time
were four nil up thanks to a great quartet of goals by Luke
Stevens
Half time score, 4 – 0.
With two substitutions Thrapston now had the advantage of
kicking down hill, and continued to work hard which resulted
in further chances before Matthew Smith scored his debut goal
making it 5-0 this was soon followed with a sixth with a fine
goal by Declan Ward. Final score 6-0.
Another good result due to hard work and persistence, well
done boys………Keep it up.
