The ended
their run of defeats with a well deserved draw against Valley
Park Rangers. A bottom of the table clash saw both teams create
chances, Thrapston's keeper, Oli Ventham making some fine
saves to thwart the Rangers strikers, but it ended goalless
at half time. Thrapston came out in the second half in determined
mood and within 5 minutes were 1 - 0 up; a long range effort
by midfielder Kai Robinson beating the stranded Valley keeper.
Valley responded, but some fine defending by Keith Boyle and
Rob Cunningham kept the away team at bay until midway through
the half Thrapston were caught square and allowed the Rangers
striker to get in a shot which just ran over the line. Both
teams looked for the winner, but neither could finsih their
chances and the game ended in a fair result of 1 - 1.
The lost
2 - 4 at home to Rothwell Aztecs. Thrapston failed to win
again after being 0 - 2 down in the first fifteen minutes,
but pulled a goal back before the break through Daryl Smith.
The second half Thrapston control the game but a break away
goal against the run of play ten minutes from full time broke
Thrapston's hearts. Aztecs added another near the end before
Danny Lynch scored to make the final result 2 - 4 to Aztec.

3 away with Steven Wildman, Sammy Gough and Josh Scarrott
scoring Thrapston's goals.
