The Under 14's lost their second game
of the season at home to Corby Kingswood Juniors. Thrapston
allowed Kingswood to score twice after failing to clear their
lines, both goals taken well by the away side. Thrapston didn't
drop their heads though and played some neat football in midfield,
occasionally penetrating the Kingswood defence but not converting
their chances. Thrapston were rewarded with a goal shortly
before half time, Jason Styles chasing a through ball to slot
home. Half time 1 - 2. The second half saw Thrapston struggle,
two goals conceded from corners, and two after the defence
were caught by through balls. Final score 1 - 6.
The Under 15's game
against Corby Hellenic has been postponed due to Hellenic
unable to field a team.
The Under 16's started
their campaign well with a 1 - 4 away win at Stanwick Rovers
with Josh Scarrott and Chris Meadway scoring two of the goals
and Sammy Gough getting the other two.
