The Under 14's lost their away game
at Valley Park Rangers 2 - 0. In difficult windy conditions
there was little to separate the two sides until five minutes
from half time when Thrapston were caught on the break and
Rangers scored. The second half saw the away side struggle
into the wind and found it difficult to get out of their own
half. Valley Park added a second towards the end and the goal
margin could have been greater had it not been for some fine
saves by Thrapston's goalkeeper Oli Ventham. Final score 2
- 0.
The Under 15's lost 1 - 2 at home
to Corby Hellenic. Thrapston’s winning run came to an
end but not without a great battle. An evenly fought first
half but two defensive slips gave Thrapston an uphill struggle
being two goals down at half time. A determined Thrapston
second half performance with Hellenic desperately holding
on. Numerous chances went close but an own goal was Thrapston’s
only reply.
The Under 16's lost to their title
rivals Finedon Vics 1 - 6 at home with Chris Meadway scoring
Thrapston's only goal.
