The Under 14's narrowly
lost 1 - 2 in their final game of the season at home to Grange
United. Thrapston were hoping that their final game of the
season could end on a high, but it wasn't to be. The home
side were 1 - 0 up after ten minutes and should have added
more but for some poor finishing. Grange equalised and then
added their second shortly before the break to make it 1 -
2 at half time. Thrapston pushed hard in the second half but
couldn't capitalise on the chances created; a theme for the
season and the game ended 1 - 2 to the visitors.
The Under 15's won 5 - 1 at home to
Higham Colts. Thrapston eventually came out worthy winners
but not without a scare. After dominating the first half without
success Thrapston opened the scoring with Danny Lynch early
in the second half but Higham pulled things level with a penalty.
Thrapston missed a numerous amount of chances before Danny
Lynch with two more goals to complete a hattrick and further
goals by Andy Millard and Scott Caller completed a convincing
win.
