Thrapston started with conviction and were rewarded by 4
early goals, in an extremely one sided match in which some
good unselfish football was played. Thrapston were rarely
troubled and cruised to an easy win.
In this era of “winning is everything” it was
hearting to see that no matter what the score Burton rallied
and chased everything right up to the final whistle and great
credit must go to them for the effort and hard work that they
put in through out the game, a special mention must go to
their goalkeeper who saved numerous shots ……..……….well
done a performance to be proud of.
