Eighteen seconds was all it took for Thrapston to score the
first of their 6 goals. Ryan Watkin was quick to pounce and
beat the keeper, If you blinked you’d missed it!!. From
then on Thrapston dominated the game and were never really
troubled. Thrapston remained composed and continued to play
good fluid flowing football, and finished the half three up
(a Ryan Watkin hatrick). Matthew Smith in particular working
tirelessly through out the whole game and making some exquisite
passes.
Thrapston continued to play well during a second half which
saw Ryan Watkin score a further three goals to bring his tally
for the game to 6. Declan Ward worked hard but luck was not
on his side when in front of goal. When Thrapston were under
pressure the defence looked strong and composed.
