The final score line didn’t really reflect
the balance of this game.
Thrapston certainly had the better of the first
half and several good scoring opportunities, but went in at
half time one down to Barton’s only real chance.
The second half was even for 15 minutes until
a 5 minute spree of 3 well taken goals secured the points
for Earls Barton.
