It started as a stroll in the park for Thrapston
and ended up a horror story as Finedon fought back from an
early 3-0 deficit to only draw a game they should have won.
Thrapston were 3-0 up with a Ryan Caller hatrick in 10 minutes
and looked set to run away with the game but complacency set
in and wheels started falling off. Just before half Finedon
pulled a goal back after missing several gilt edged chances
to leave the game finely balanced for the second half.
Thrapston were unrecognizable in the second half from the
team that had started so brightly. If Finedon would have taken
half the chances they had apart from the 2 goals they did
manage there would have been an embarrassing score line. Thrapston
clung on to register a very lucky draw.
