A must win game for Thrapston looking to contend
for top place at the end of the season saw their first goal
after 39 seconds, with Reece Evans heading the ball into the
net from a Carlos Lewis corner. By half time Thrapston should
have had the game nailed but chance after chance was either
missed or saved by Ferrers excellent Keeper to make it 0-2
at half time. With Thrapston struggling to open up the game
on a small pitch despite strong defending from centre backs
Ryan Kirk and Will Anns a nail biting second half saw Ferrers
draw even twice after Thrapston took the lead until a three
goal difference opened up with a 3-4 goal from Paul Spicker
followed by goals from Reece Evans and Jack Rawcliffe (M.O.M.)
with Ferrers pulling one back to make it 4-6 at full time.
