Thrapston Town Blues 1 v Burton Youth 1
A draw was all we could get today, from a game which we should
have won with missed opportunities.
An open goal in the first half and a power shot from Harry
saved by the Burton Goalie in the second.
No one person stood out today, all played well under the
extremely difficult muddy conditions of the pitch.

Goal from James cheekily touched just before it was to cross
the line from Joshua's kick past the keeper.
2nd Half Line up GK(Luke)- LB(Harry)- RB(Andrew) - MF(Hayden)

Again some good off the ball movement, and a few good chances
to score.
In all a tough match with good play under the conditions.
Well done boys.
Andrew, Luke and Harry. You need to agree with each other
with regards to balls being claimed by the keeper. Luke you
must stamp your authority on balls in your goal area, if you
make a decision to claim a ball then shout and move quick
to claim. I noticed today on a few occasions the ball was
in front of goal and nobody took control, against stronger
teams we will lose goals for this type of mistake.
Overall I was pleased with the Team performance, but still
looking for players to spread the play with solid passes and
better tackles. Roll on the better weather for the pitches
sake..............
