Fantastic Game
Clearly the best of our season to date.
All players giving 110%.
Andrew scoring a great goal from 20yards out. You see boys
you can score from defense as long as you are patient and
don't leave ourselves open to counter attacks.
Luke superb goalkeeping again this week, your really coming
on in your awareness of the shots.
Harry/Andrew great defending, today's closing the players
down and stopping them from playing the ball gave us the chance
to counter attack.
Hayden great corners and game awareness, again covering for
Andrew and Harry when they went in for tackles your game knowledge
improves week on week, I was greatly impressed that Hayden
took four headers today, other team members need to follow
suit and start to head to ball more often.
James/Jack/Curtis and Joshua good up front tackling and possession.
James had good confidence on the ball and helped us get the
corners, but watch the play acting James I noticed a couple
of times you were too quick to cry wolf.
Joshua good game better this week you seamed much fitter,
don't forget you don't need to dribble the ball in the net,
pull the trigger sooner and take the shot earlier, your still
taking too much time on the ball and then getting tackled,
head up and shoot.
Curtis a good game today, lots of tackling and getting stuck
in. You also need to work on your game knowledge and get into
space of your own and away from your fellow players then you
can make forward runs at get the ball up the pitch.
Jack, a better game for you today getting involved and some
good tackles, like Curtis you still have to find your place
in the pitch to make time to pass and move about, you must
concentrate on the game play and anticipate where the ball
is going and when to tackle hard or move about.
In all a great game with all parents saying how great it
was to watch, if we take this much passion to every game every
week you will become a very difficult side to beat, our strongest
attack is our defense and our ability at the counter attack.
