We went at Grange right from the off putting them under immense
pressure and had 2 early chances which on other days would
have put us comfortably in the lead. Somehow Grange managed
to get to half time without conceeding a goal with all the
game being played in their half. 0-0
We knew that we would have to be equally as good in the 2nd
half as Grange were sure to come into the game, but still
we had the better of the posession. As the half went on Grange
began to get more of the ball and from one of their only attacks
took the lead which was really rough justice on us. Liam on
for Harry. We had to go looking for the equalizer and in doing
so left ourselves open at the back. Scott on for Liam. Right
at the death Grange scored another to make it 0-2. Lucaas
on for Charlie. Final score 0-2.
A disappointing result in a game that we mostly controlled.
Thanks to parents, friends and the players who didn't get
a game for the usual great support.
