This week we were up against a much improved Blues side who
were coming into the game on the back of 2 straight wins,
where as we were looking to bounce back after our unlucky
1st defeat of the season last week. As is typical of these
fixtures for bragging rights the game started off very scrappy,
with neither side being able to play much football due to
the competitiveness of both sets of players. There were chances
at either end in the 1st half but both sides were unable to
convert their chances. Half time 0-0.
2nd Half:Alistair on for Lucaas,Charlie on for Harry.
The 2nd half continued in much the same vein as the 1st, with
the Yellows having most of the ball but with chances at both
ends. In the last few minuets of the match the Yellows put
the Blues defence under immense pressure and from a great
pass from Alistair, Max diverted the ball between Luke's legs
to secure a win for the Yellows. Final score 0-1.
These games are always very tough with not much football
being played but credit today to both sides in what was an
entertaining match.
