After last weeks debacle all we could hope for was a game
that would be even for both sides and that is what we got.With
the Yellows playing all the early football switching the play
from one side of the pitch to another (a joy to watch it's
what makes it all worth while)it wasn't long before we took
the lead. A corner from Scott was headed into the net by a
Falcons defender 1-0.We continued to have the better of the
play and from a great run and shot from Scott the Falcons
keeper made a great save but Scott followed up to make it
2-0 at the interval.
2nd half. Alistair on for Liam (who had a good 1st half on
his return from injury).The Falcons put us on the back foot
at the start of the 2nd half and stopped us playing. Lucaas
on for Max. Only a great save from Kern and a shot that hit
the woodwork stopped the Falcons from getting back into the
game. We couldn't reproduce the football of the 1st half but
still ran out comfortable winners 2-0 Final score.
Well done everybody we played some nice football today!
