On a very wet and windy day our unbeaten start to the season
came to an end. With the conditions making it very difficult
for either team to play any football, the Warriors started
the stronger putting our defence under pressure.From a shot
outside the box, Kern made a great save only for the ball
to go straight to one of their players who was unmarked who
shot to put them 0-1 up. We came back strongly, forcing a
succession of corners and from one of these Max was unlucky
not to score with a header. Half time 0-1.
Lucaas on for Charlie, Liam on for Scott.We tried very hard
to get back into the match, with much of the half being played
in the Warriors half of the pitch with some strong tackles
going in, one of which resulted in Lucaas getting a bang on
the knee and being replaced by Alistair.Scott back on for
Harry. Try as we might we couldn't break down their defence.
Final Score 0-1.
A bit unlucky to lose this week,in a game in which the weather
prevented either side playing any decent football.
Next week we have to learn from what happened today and work
hard to get back to winning ways!
