Thrapston’s improving season continued with a great
win over Burton Youth, only our second win of the season.
Thrapston went ahead 1-0 with a rocket finish from Archie
Brocklebank, his first for the club. In the second half the
lead was doubled with Ben Hansord’s first goal for
the club, with two very neat finishes from Matthew Sharpe
making it four. Goalkeeper Thomas Stoker almost scored with
a Paul Robinson type effort from a goal kick.
A very pleasing result for a team that has trained hard and
steadily improved over the season.
