In the most entertaining game of the season Thrapston secured
a 3-3 draw with a decent Kingswood Eagles team. Thrapston
took the lead after 2 minutes with a great individual goal
from Sam Rouwenhorst. Eagles equalised almost immediately
with a well taken goal. A fantastic shot from his own half
from Sam Rouwenhorst put Thrapston 2-1 up, that was followed
be a very neat finish from Matthew Sharpe. In the second
half Eagles changed their team around and put much more pressure
on Thrapston which resulted in two goals. Every player was
fantastic today and it clearly shows how far we have come
as a team this season.
