In a thrilling last match of the season, Thrapston played
a swifts team which had defeated them 1-0 in our first ever
match. The first half was a very tight affair with chances
at both ends. In the second half Swifts piled on the pressure,
however Thrapston scored the first goal with a brilliant
individual run from George Peet. Swifts equalised shortly
after and some great saves from Thomas Stoker kept the score
at 1-1.
Now unbeaten in two matches a great end to the season. Well done to everyone
this year.
